Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Background: Candidates must have a B.E. or B.Tech. degree in a relevant field from a well-known university with at least 60% of the possible points while SC and ST candidates must have at least 50%. Electronics/ECE/ETC/EEE/CSE/IT/mechanical and industrial production are among the disciplines that are eligible.

Experience Requirement:- Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in the relevant field. Apprenticeship training up to 1 year is considered valid experience- however experience gained through internships/academic institutions/project work will not be accepted. The experience should be specifically related to production – industrial operations – testing – repair or maintenance.

Age Criteria:- The upper age limit for UR candidates is 30 years as of the selection date. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories according to the government guidelines – with a relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST and up to 10 years of relaxation for PwBD. Additionally aspirants who were domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir during the period 1980 to 1989 are eligible for a 5-year relaxation.
